In society today people don't like to be handed out questionnaires to fill in by hand, they prefer to do it online. As our film is a 18 I decided to post my survey on Facebook and get people to fill it out but also allow random people to answer it, the people filling out the questionnaire will be between 17-21 as today people generally do see an 18 film before they are 18. I will ensure that a mixed variety of people ask it so that I can get an idea of what different people think.
Our genre is horror but my research was to find out what type of horror films people most enjoyed and what villan or monster they liked the most amongst other questions. Currently a lot of films are based on zombies and research showed that people liked and agreed that zombies were the best monster in a horror movie but it was closely followed by vampires which have become a big hit since he film Twilight.
We also found out that people like the villan to be dressed in character on magazine front covers and they like to have just one main image on posters with as little light colour as possible, and this could be due to creating atmosphere towards the film.
